Idyllic, location and quality value food

Lovely find, we were looking for a dog friendly eatery, and this was idyllic.
Can eat outside or inside, weather dependent. Set in lovely countryside location.
Pleasant staff, good wholesome food, quality ingredients, freshly prepared.
Food for everyone, good value.

A New Forest Gem

My wife and I stopped by today for a late lunch …….. before I get started on my review I base my salad reviews on having eaten at such places as : The Orient Express, The four seasons in Paris, The Burj Al Arab, Dubai, so I have experience with high quality food, I honestly have to say the salad I had today was one of the best I have ever eaten, it was bursting with flavour and was definitely put together by a salad lover, my wife’s was exactly the same, in fact I was in shock, the staff were really helpful and polite, the facilities were spotless, but it’s all about the food as that is the hardest aspect to get right and did they ever get that right, I couldn’t recommend this place enough if your in the area, 10/10

A Fabulous Breakfast Experience!

We had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at The Potting Shed, and it was nothing short of fantastic! Every dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to find us a table even though we hadn’t made a reservation on what seemed to be their busiest day. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, the service was amazing, and our food arrived quickly.

The attached shop was a lovely surprise, offering a delightful selection of local products. All in all, The Potting Shed is a great find, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
